Snow is falling by Emily (Squirrel Class)

Snow snow is falling like cotton wool dangling from the trees ,
snow falls like breadcrumbs, the lamp posts are covered with vanilla ice cream
the snow is as thick as Father Christmases beard.

  1. Well done Emily - what a lovely poem. You have used some really good similes.

  2. I love your simile about the vanilla ice cream but it made me feel hungry! I think snow makes everything look like a white iced wedding cake.

  3. I love snow when it covers everything like a snuggly white blanket keeping sleeping children toasty and warm.
