Snow falling like sparkling sugar grains
Laying on the ground like a thick white blanket
People leaving footprints like deep moon craters
Children throwing snowballs like round tennis balls
Dogs playing and bouncing in the snow like excited skippy lambs.
Your simile about the moon craters is very imaginative, Isabel, and very appropriate as we have been learning about the moon. Well done for writing such an effective poem. I can really see the snow in my mind when you describe it so well.
ReplyDeleteMy dog Seamus used to love jumping and rolling in the snow!
